![]() ![]() ![]() Well I was a little apprehensive about reinstalling RS, but I tried installing a fresh copy of the pach and worked!! CDLCs now play as they should. I checked the discord app as you suggested and found a comment on there about resinstalling RS plus the patch. Everything matched up as to what you've said. I'm out for the next hours, will check here again when I get back. I'm assuming that you've run the patch as directed (rather than the DLL as with PC). Mac support has always been a bit more touch-and-go, and the tools weren't crafted with Mac in mind. It would be helpful to know what's the same or different on your set-up.Īs for RSMods, can't help you there. If I open Contents, then MacOS, I see this. When I run steam, right-click on RS, then Properties, then Local files, the option-right-click the app, it opens the bundle and we can see what's inside with Show Package Contents. Launch Rocksmith 2014 by either opening Steam and running it from "Library", or launch it from the Mac Launchpad by clicking on "Rocksmith 2014" Select the "Local Files" tab and click on "Browse Local Files" You can also find the folder by opening Steam and going to your games library and right-clicking on Rocksmith 2014, and choosing "Properties". It is a hidden folder, so the easiest way to find it is to open Finder, and using the "Go" menu, select " Go To Folder" and paste the location in there. The location is: ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/Rocksmith2014 I'll put instructions for that down below. If they end in "_p.psarc" they are PC only versions and will need to be converted with the Toolkit. **If you encounter a permissions error, see the note below**ĭownload the customs you want. This will patch the Rocksmith 2014 app file to allow cDLC's to work. Unzip the patch file and double-click on "RUN_PATCH_RS.command" to run the patch. ![]() Your user account needs to be an Administrator account. Here are all the steps (read them carefully) : ![]()
